Soldiers Track
The Soldier's Track is one of several Cambridge walking trails and runs from under the high level Victoria Bridge to the low level Ferguson Bridge in Shakespeare St. The mature trees which remain above the walk include impressive specimens of several species and is an example of one of the points of interest on the Cambridge walking trails.
This track, now a Cambridge walking trail, was used by soldiers stationed at their barracks in Fort St. during the Land Wars.
A group of seven magnolias was planted near the southern end of the high-level bridge to commemorate the centenary of its construction (1907 - 2007).
