Cambridge Poets' Track could once be accessed from under the (high level) Victoria St. Bridge, but erosion closed that section, and access is now opposite the gymnasium on Pope Terrace, Gill Lumb Park, or Fletcher Place.  It is an easy grade along its length.

Cambridge Poets' Track joins the Medow Walk at Fletcher place, and the two tracks give a good walk along the riverbank. At present (2025) it is not suitable for disabled people because of some stiles and wet ground. We have plans to remedy that, but other people are involved so it will take a while. For others, Cambridge Poets' Track and the Meadow Walk provide a very nice riverside walk
